Kenjiro Nomura (1896-1956 Washington) ''Fish Market'' 1952 Oil on Masonite 24''x30'' Image. Scarce Northwest Seafood still life abstraction with price tags reminiscent of the Pike Place Market. Signed and dated l.r. Nomura entered the painting into the Tupperware Art Fund, a national art competition sponsored by the Tupperware Company (label affixed to verso). Gallery framed 27''x33''. It has a few small scattered paint drops on surface. Overall excellent condition. Work is published in the book ''George Nomura: American Modernist'' by Barbara Johns on page 109, fig.4.23.
