Sperry would experiment in funk pottery from 1974-75 under Patti Warashina's encouragement. The majority of pieces from this period reside in museum collections. Signed and titled on verso. Housed in plexiglas display box measuring 10.5''x23''x20''. Excellent condition. Work is published in LaMar Harrington's book ''Ceramics in the Pacific Northwest'' on page 64.
