Duane Pasco (1932-2024 Washington) ''Land Totems in the Round'' (SeaTac Airport Commission) 1972 Cedar Totem Pole Suite 8'. Important four-part carved and polychrome painted Tlingit style totem pole suite commissioned by the SeaTac Airport in the early 1970's. The two main totem poles measure 8'x2'x2'6'' and feature bear and raven motifs with applied raven in flight finials. The two side connecting poles measure 8'x8''x8'' and depict downward soaring birds in u-form. Erected in 1973 and deaccessioned in 1998. Overall excellent condition. Published on page 47 in the book ''Life as Art: Duane Pasco''. Collection of Charles and Gayle Pancerzewski of Mukilteo, Washington State. This lot being sold with no reserve.
