Chinese Yuan Jade Dragon Finial 2''x2.5''. Pale celadon to white coloring. Intricately pierced carved with dragon ands scrolling foliage. It has an area of loss to upper left and ride side of dragon with a few minor edge chips to design. From the private collection of Samuel Bernstein of S. Bernstein & Co., Los Angeles. Yuan dynasty, 13th to 14th century. Per Bernstein's notes, the age was verified by the Curator of the Far Eastern Collection, Hermitage Museum.
