Chinese Jade Scholar's Table Screen Plaque 3.5''x5''. Pale celadon coloring with areas of light russet skin. Relief carved scholar with attendant in landscape with deer and mountains on verso. Excellent condition. From the private collection of Samuel Bernstein of S. Bernstein & Co., Los Angeles. Bernstein's notes list this as Ming, though it is believed to be later 18th or 19th century (Qing dynasty).
