Impressive Pair Chinese Elephant Cloisonne Censers on Stands 44''x25.5''x15''. A massive pair of polychrome enameled figural elephant censers on carved wood bases. Figural vase form saddles with covers. They break down for shipment and all of the ornament comes off, including the elephant separate from its throne, separate from the base. Missing one small finial piece. Overall excellent condition. Early to mid 20th century, Republic era. From a private Northwest family collection that lived in China in the 1970's and collected antiquities.
